Bradley Charalambous
Head Coach, Founder, and Recruitment Director
Coach Brad is a seasoned veteran of college kicking. A former punter, he played at Humboldt State and Chaffey College. He also redshirted at the FBS school, Arizona, and completed his college career during the COVID-19 season at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC).
Brad has served as the kicking coach for the ELF's Swarco Raiders and has coached several British American football teams. He is also a leading pioneer in helping European kickers make their mark internationally. Notably, Coach Brad was the first to help secure a scholarship for a kicker from England directly to an FBS school.
Bradley Charalambous began his kicking journey in England under Coach Mike McCabe’s One-on-One Kicking program, where he was mentored by McCabe, one of the sport's greats. With Mike McCabe’s retirement, Coach Brad partnered with renowned punting coach, former All-American, and Dolphins punter Aaron Perez to form the Punt Factory.
Through his camps and training, Coach Brad has helped over 42 players secure full-ride scholarships directly from England and Europe. He is incredibly proud of how the sport of kicking is growing in Europe and is committed to continuing to help his players reach the next level.
Now, with his partnership with Chris Sailer Kicking, Coach Charalambous is excited to expand his reach and provide even more European players the opportunity to play at the highest level in America.

Wihan van der Riet
South African Divisional Head coach and Owner, Director of Rocketfoot Academy
In late 2013, while living in Potchefstroom, I created a kicking video that captured the attention of former Kansas City Chiefs kicker Michael Husted. This sparked a journey for me to perfect my rugby goal-kicking technique. Michael and I exchanged emails and videos, and he invited me to train with him in San Diego, where I learned his American football kicking methods. Michael operates the Husted Kicking Academy and the National Camp Series, where NFL and college scouts search for kickers and punters. I trained alongside some of the best talent in America and discovered that American football kicking is a highly specialized individual discipline within a team sport. To succeed, kickers must master form, technique, and energy transfer with precision and smooth execution.
During my time in San Diego, I had the chance to work out with the San Diego Chargers, gaining a deeper understanding of the high level of performance required to make an NFL team. After returning to South Africa, I received offers from AFL teams and even had a workout invite from the Green Bay Packers. However, visa issues prevented me from pursuing these opportunities, leading me to focus on coaching and founding Rocketfoot.
At the Husted Kicking Academy, I met former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Michael Shane Hollis, whose mentorship and coaching philosophy greatly influenced my development as a coach. Mike’s ProForm technique, based on quality and perfection over quantity and profit, became the foundation for my coaching approach. I have seen how ProForm can help athletes excel in multiple leagues, including the NFL, CFL, AFL, and College football.
Rocketfoot was born out of my experiences with the NFL kicking industry, which transformed my understanding of goal-kicking. I realized that Rugby goal-kicking could be approached with the same mindset and precision, leading to a complete shift in training methods and techniques. The Rocketfoot program emphasizes this new approach, and I invite others to try it and see how it revolutionizes their understanding of kicking.
